Good question Jonathan. I’m not sure what is used in place of things such as bonds in this case. I guess that would make a good topic for further research.

This is actually pretty cool. Since Muslims are against the charging of interest, I wonder what replaces the fixed-income part of many portfolio, especially for those nearing retirement.
