February 23rd Friday Five – Record Retention Day Edition

Here at the office today is our annual purge day according to the record retention program. I always love these days because it allows me to clean out my office with the mountains of paperwork that has become dated. It is a little early for spring cleaning but this is a great start. Below are five good reads from the past week:

How to Avoid Paying Sales Tax – Taxes suck, but there may be some additional relief. Ben has some tips on how to minimize your state sales tax burden.

Where to Get Missing W-2 and 1099 Forms – Missing tax documents can be a real pain, but Jim provides some insight as to how to get copies of these missing forms.
