I noticed over at Wisebread there was a post about the coffeemaker and how it wasn't very good because it has more parts to clean, but I haven't had a problem. Sure, because it has a built in grinder it is going to have a few extra parts when compared to a basic maker, but I find a quick rinse under hot water after each brew takes about 30 seconds. I guess if you're looking for pure simplicity, then that model may not be for you, but I just love it. Now I can use my little hand-held coffee grinder to grind up herbs and spices :) David, I like it a lot as well. The new card site Leverage has some of the latest guaranteed-by-xmas shipping I've seen, along with swap functionality, interest-earning (thanks to coolmompicks for that suggestion). Still, those Sennheisers would make my nephew happy...! About the noise-cancellation -- I've used several pairs and they mostly cancel out lower, bassy sounds (such as airplane engines, etc). They won't help if a baby's crying or anything, although Ozzy might drown it out...
