Welcome to the New Site Design

This has been something I’ve been wanting to get around to for months, and I finally had the chance to work with someone to get a new design off the ground. So, if you’re reading this post in your feed reader, you may want to stop by to the site and see the changes. As with any major change, nothing is 100% complete right away and this is no different. There are still plenty of little glitches and improvements to be made, but it is in a good working condition where with use, these problems can be discovered and fixed. This is where you can help by poking around and seeing if you notice any errors or problems. Some issues have already been discovered, and I’ll be working on those.

Some issues yet to be resolved:

  • Polls are not displaying properly
  • Separation of trackbacks and pingbacks from the comments
  • The MyBlogLog widget in the footer occasionally acts up in Internet Explorer
  • Image alignment and text wrapping on old posts
  • Minor color and formatting adjustments throughout the site

Other than those issues, if you notice something out of the ordinary, please feel free to leave a comment or contact me. Hopefully everything will be ironed out by early next week.

Nice and clean – there are always tweaks that need to be done with a site when you change the template. I think it might be time for a new template – thanks for the reminder.

Wow. Spiffy design. At some point my blog will grow up and need to move to wordpress and a beautiful design like this. You willing to rent your skills? I’ll be sending emails and asking for assistance when the time comes for me and I’ll look you up for help I’m sure. Ballpark, how much would a semi-custom blog cost (email me if you are willing to quote a price).
