Yup got one of these myself.  Mine came in the form of a Tax Refund which was $1K less when it hit the bank account.  Upon investigation I learned that the wife had paid less on one quarterly estimate and forgot about it.  I then got the notice about a month later.</description>

		<description>A very informative post about different types of audits. It really is important to keep good records. I keep all my supporting documents with my copy of that year&#039;s tax return, so that if there is ever a problem, everything is right there.</description>
