Thriftygal, the email seems odd, but I'm sure it's simply for having a separate inbox with ease. I did talk to the casting director on the phone and looked up the casting company and it's all legit.

Sounds interesting. Unfortunately my life is no big comeback story so it would be pretty boring for reality tv! One red flag I noticed though, is the gmail email account. Wouldn't you think a "large consumer financial institution" would have no trouble paying for it's own webhosting?

This should be interesting! There are reality shows for practically everything nowadays...This is a great way to help someone in need and also expose to the public how to fix your finances as well.
