It’s already mid-February, which means we’re just two months away from the tax filing deadline! We’ve been talking taxes a lot this past week, but it’s so you can make sure you’re getting the most in deductions, filing your return on time to avoid penalties, and using the right software. Everyone needs a car and it has to run well, hopefully cheaply, without costly repairs. IT took me a long time to decide to be a bit ahead of the game as far as unexpected costs go. Corporate personhood is a fiction to allow them to protect the property entrusted to them by shareholders, to bring and defend law suits. It needs to stop there.

I thought "Finding Money Where There’s None" was going to be about looking under the couch cushions. :-) I know a woman who's an expert at one of the tips in that particular article. She'll find a lower rate, call up her phone company or her internet provider or whatever and say, "Hey, I'm thinking of switching to this other company. Can you do any better?" And darn it, they often give her a better deal. I need to get the guts to do that.

I'm hoping I can win a copy so I don't have to buy one. ;)
