I just stumbled across this blog and really enjoyed this explanation of how the moving averages can act as support or resistance.

I recently started www.betachaser.com, a personal finance and investing blog. I'd love to get any feed back you have as I really like the layout and design of your site. Do you have any posts about the theme and/or modifications you made to it.

Technical analysis= Voodoo? I like the comparison.
Will the market rise or fall from here? Yes.
Just remember, the market is a better deal now
than it was a couple of weeks ago at Dow 14000.
IF you're an investor, just keep putting money
in at regular intervals, enjoying the (relative)
bargains. If the market keeps going down, keep
buying. If the market doesn't recover, we'll all
have worse things to think about than having
lost money in the market, LoL. I'll keep my
monthly investments going in as long as I'm
employed, thank you....

I don't know, the technical analysis is interesting, but I think there has been a big drop in wealth and the drop is going to continue for a couple years. I can't see this doing anything but hurting the stock market. I don't think we'll see a huge crash a la 1929, but I think things will continue to get worse for a while before they get better.
