It is amazing to me how many people try to take advantage of others who are already in severe financial troubles due to high debt. I've seen some relatives go through bankruptcy, and now they seem to be doing ok, but that's just on the surface. Could be a case of keeping up with the Joneses. I'd make it my last option.
